What are the Boston Bandits?: They are the oldest semi-pro football team in Boston and in the New England football League. Teams have come and gone but the Boston Bandits have been here 19 years; the longest tenured team in the NEFL. They are winners of 4 NEFL Championships. A team built on great defenses (led the league in allowing the fewest points six times in 1998, 2001, ‘03, ‘05, '08 and '12) and a relentless offense (led the league in scoring in 2006). They have fallen three times just 2 games shy of National Championships in 2003, ’04 and ’05. The Bandits have qualified for the playoffs all 19 years of their existence.
