<description> What are the Boston Bandits?: They are the oldest semi-pro football team in Boston and in the New England football League. Teams have come and gone but the Boston Bandits have been here 19 years; the longest tenured team in the NEFL. They are winners of 4 NEFL Championships. A team built on great defenses (led the league in allowing the fewest points six times in 1998, 2001, &amp;lsquo;03, &amp;lsquo;05, &amp;#39;08 and &amp;#39;12) and a relentless offense (led the league in scoring in 2006). They have fallen three times just 2 games shy of National Championships in 2003, &amp;rsquo;04 and &amp;rsquo;05. The Bandits have qualified for the playoffs all 19 years of their existence. <title>Bulls Rush Bandits Out of the Playoffs</title>
		<link>http://www.bostonbandits.org/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=127&amp;Itemid=2</link>
<description>The Bandits season came to an unexpected early end at the hands of the Southern Maine Raging Bulls in a second round playof 28-3 loss. The Bandits missed on a near touchdown on the 2nd play of the game and instead of taking the early lead, they instead had to punt. That&amp;#39;s where things began to go bad for the Bandits as the punt snap was mishandled giving the Bulls the ball at the Bandit 10 yardline. QB Alexis Colon snuck in from the 1 yardline 3 plays later for a quick 7-0 lead. The Bandits, however, responded with a drive into the Bulls&amp;#39; redzone, however, the drive stalled and they had to settle for a 33 yard field goal by Jeff Similien. The Bulls running game continued to pound on the Bandit defense wearing them down. Phil Warren would score before the half to up the lead to 14-3. Between untimely penalties that gave the Bulls additional first downs and an offense that could not sustain drives, Warren would find the endzone again in the third and fourth quarter to put the game out of reach. The Bandits ended their season with a 9-2 record, both of the losses at the hands of the Bulls (10-2). The Bandit will be sending 4 players to the Nov. 17th Allstar game in Lawrence. <title>Bandits End Regular Seaon with a Win</title>
		<link>http://www.bostonbandits.org/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=126&amp;Itemid=2</link>
<description>The Bandits (9-1) wrapped up their regular season with a 40-0 victory at the Coastal Chiefs. The Bandits scored on their first offensive possession on a 47 yard run by JD Brooks and a quick 7-0 lead. He would score again minutes later on a 1 yard run after Justin Griffin recovered a Chief fumble. The extra point failed leaving the score at 13-0. Will Johnson found Omar Phillip in the end zone for an 8 yard reception. Eric Sisson&amp;rsquo;s 2 point run placed the score at 21-0. The Bandits recovered another fumble and almost scored again before the half as Ty Greene was pulled down just shy of the goal line on the last play of the half. Darryl Hodge opened the scoring in the second half on a 48 yard run. The Bandits&amp;rsquo; defense continued its strong play with interceptions by Cliff Anderson and Louis Jeanniton in the third quarter, setting up the Bandit offense for two more scores in the quarter. Johnson found Daryl Sweet for a 30 yard throw and catch while Chavin Fagin plowed in on a 2 yard run. Griffin added a PAT and the Bandits led 40-0 after three quarters. The Chiefs tried to get on the board late in the game with a drive to the Bandits 25, but were thwarted on 4th down. The Bandits while host a second round playoff game at English HS on Oct. 13th at 7PM versus the winner of the So. Maine Raging Bulls (8-2) and NH Wolfpack (6-4) of the first round.</description>
